Softball Recap: Liberal Comes Up Short

Liberal lost to Lockwood last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-6 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberal's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Lockwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Liberal has already played their next game (against Northeast Vernon County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lockwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-7 win against Diamond on the 21st.
