Football Game Preview: San Juan Hills Stallions vs. Downey Vikings + How To Watch

San Juan Hills has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Downey has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Stallions will square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

San Juan Hills not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 8, 2024 (when they won 34-0). They claimed a resounding 41-7 victory over Tesoro. With the Stallions ahead 41-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

A big part of San Juan Hills' win came down to the chemistry between Timmy Herr and his top target Luke Frith. Herr threw for 295 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes while Frith picked up 151 receiving yards and five TDs. That's the most receiving yards Frith has posted since back in September. Ayden Geer handled things on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

Meanwhile, while Downey put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Dominguez. The Vikings blew past the Dons, posting a 34-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Dons are ranked 523rd).

San Juan Hills' record is now 7-3. As for Downey, their record now sits at 9-1.
