Dublin is 8-2 against Dougherty Valley since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gaels will challenge the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Dublin has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dublin couldn't beat California on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Gaels lost 18-7 to the Grizzlies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gaels have suffered against the Grizzlies since April 25, 2017.

Sarah Bull made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Caitlyn Carr, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Dougherty Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Livermore, falling 12-2.

Dougherty Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laura Osborn, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Dublin's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Dougherty Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Dublin took their victory against Dougherty Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gaels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
