Baseball Recap: Cox Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Cox faced Ocean Lakes in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons skirted past the Dolphins 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Dolphins: they've now won six in a row.

Cox pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Ocean Lakes, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.
