Basketball Preview: Granger Lancers vs. West Jordan Jaguars

After four games on the road, Granger is heading back home. They will take on the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Daudi Aweyso and Colton Blackham.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-53, which was the final score in Granger's tilt against the Soaring Eagle on Friday. Granger has not had much luck with the Soaring Eagle recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, West Jordan came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Hunter by a score of 68-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Granger has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for West Jordan, they pushed their record up to 10-10 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Granger took a serious blow against the Jaguars when the teams last played back in January, falling 65-28. Will Granger have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
