Baseball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was the 12-10 winner over North when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Stars by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Jaren Colbert was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

West dropped their record down to 6-18 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-19.

While West had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
