The Basha Bears are taking a road trip to square off against the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Basha is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Basha is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Chaparral, who was ranked second at the time (Basha was ranked seventh). Basha walked away with a 3-1 victory over Chaparral on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

They hit Chaparral with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gentry Watrous, Rylee Howard, and Chloe Lutgen.

Meanwhile, Boulder Creek waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Pioneers. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Jaguars were the better team in the second half.

Basha's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Boulder Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

Basha suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Boulder Creek in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Basha was down 3-0.
