Midstate Homeschool has gone a perfect 3-0 against Christian Academy of Louisiana recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Storm will head out on the road to challenge the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Midstate Homeschool is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Psalms Christian Academy on Saturday. The Storm strolled past the Ambassadors with points to spare, taking the game 69-53. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Ambassadors: they've now won four in a row.

Midstate Homeschool's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Isaac Lawrence, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine assists, and Michael Miller, who shot 40% from the field en route to 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Lawrence also grabbed eight steals, which is notable because the Storm are 2-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joshua Lonsberry, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Midstate Homeschool was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They are 3-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Academy of Louisiana). They walked away with a 56-43 win over Open Door Christian Academy last Tuesday. Considering the Crusaders' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Christian Academy of Louisiana's win came from a few key players Midstate Homeschool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Holden Robertson, who posted 17 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Jaden Dorsey was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 19 boards.
Midstate Homeschool's record is now 3-7. As for Christian Academy of Louisiana, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Midstate Homeschool against Christian Academy of Louisiana in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured an 87-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
