Northgate won the last time they faced Benicia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

While Northgate won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Benicia lost, don't look at Zoe Cohen. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs. Cohen has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Northgate's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Benicia, they moved to 15-13 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
