Basketball Recap: Davenport West Comes Up Short

Davenport West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Scott Lancers. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Davenport West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Scott, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Davenport West is headed away from home for the first time to take on Bettendorf at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Scott, they will be home for the holidays to greet Davenport North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
