Basketball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa Takes a Loss

Pandora-Gilboa lost against McComb back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets lost 55-34 to the McComb Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Panthers are ranked 158th).

Pandora-Gilboa now has a losing record at 6-7. As for McComb, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pandora-Gilboa will venture away from home to square off against Fort Jennings at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for McComb, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the McComb Panthers duke it out with the Miller City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
