Baseball Recap: Kennebunk Starts Season with Loss at Home

Kennebunk unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 8-5 to the Shrewsbury Colonials on Saturday.

Luke Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Brady Stone, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Shrewsbury has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Colonials beat Kennebunk by a score of 8-5 later that day.
