Football Recap: Quapaw Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Oklahoma Union last Friday, Quapaw came back down to earth. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 72-23 loss at the hands of the Pawnee Black Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Black Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Jace Gregory threw for 117 yards and one TD. On the ground, Gavin Koronis rushed for 120 yards on only 12 carries.

Quapaw now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pawnee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Quapaw will venture away from home to square off against Pawhuska at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Pawnee, they will head out to take on Nowata at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Black Bears will be up against the Ironmen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
