Volleyball Recap: Riverside Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games + How To Watch

Riverside had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Woodmont on Monday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Riverside was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14, 25-8.

Riverside found their leader in sophomore Tanner Tumblin, who had 15 kills, four aces, three digs, and three blocks. Tumblin has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ignacio Miguez, who had 24 assists.

Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Woodmont, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
