Football Recap: Port Barre Takes a Loss

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Port Barre was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 47-6 loss at the hands of the Opelousas Catholic Vikings. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Having lost for the first time this season, Port Barre fell to 2-1. As for Opelousas Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Port Barre will be playing in front of their home fans against Marksville at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Opelousas Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
