Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. South Point

The Seneca Bobcats will square off against the South Point Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

South Point better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Seneca's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Seneca really gets things going. The Bobcats put the hurt on West-Oak with a sharp 4-1 win.

Seneca hit the Warriors with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bri Morel (2), Molly Bradley, and Kylie Bankson.

Meanwhile, after a string of 12 wins, South Point's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Ardrey Kell, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for South Point seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Seneca's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matches. As for South Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3-2.
