Basketball Recap: Yamhill-Carlton Comes Up Short

Yamhill-Carlton was the 58-51 winner over Corbett when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corbett Cardinals on Wednesday.

Yamhill-Carlton's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Corbett, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Neah-Kah-Nie the next time they take the court. Corbett will head out to face Neah-Kah-Nie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Yamhill-Carlton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
