Basketball Recap: Jordan Kaminsky Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Johnstown-Monroe

A well-balanced attack led Heath over Johnstown-Monroe in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Heath Bulldogs put the hurt on the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies with a sharp 59-39 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heath to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Kaminsky, who posted 16 points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Duston, who scored 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Heath's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Johnstown-Monroe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heath has already played their next game (against Granville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Johnstown-Monroe will square off against Licking Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
