Baseball Recap: Satanta Comes Up Short

Satanta lost against Stanton County on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Trojans, falling 27-7. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Satanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Stanton County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Satanta is headed away from home for the first time to take on Spearville on Thursday. As for Stanton County, they will welcome Springfield at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Longhorns have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.4 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
