Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Archbishop Bergan walked away with it. They came out on top against the Cross County Cougars by a score of 53-43 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

Cross County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thatcher Hanson, who posted 11 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Hengelfelt, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Archbishop Bergan's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Cross County, they moved to 26-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 21-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Archbishop Bergan nor Cross County have any future games scheduled.
