Softball Game Preview: Northampton County Jaguars vs. KIPP P Pride

The Northampton County Jaguars will head out to square off against the KIPP P Pride at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northampton County has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Jaguars on Thursday. Northampton County fell just short of Rocky Mount Prep by a score of 27-26.

Meanwhile, KIPP P was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Warren County, falling 23-1.

KIPP P's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Northampton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Northampton County suffered a grim 20-4 defeat to KIPP P in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
