Basketball Recap: Macon County Takes a Loss

Macon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots.

Macon County's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Allen County-Scottsville, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Macon County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-33 defeat against KIPP Nashville Collegiate on the 25th. Allen County-Scottsville has also already played their next game (against John Hardin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
