Softball Recap: McComb Tigers vs. Bogue Chitto Bobcats
McComb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell victim to a rough 16-3 loss at the hands of the Bogue Chitto Bobcats.
McComb saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimeilya White, who went 1-for-2 with a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleia Green, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances.
McComb's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Bogue Chitto, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
McComb didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 loss vs. Richland on the 27th. Bogue Chitto has also already played their next matchup, a 13-0 defeat against Loyd Star on the 26th.
