Lewis Came Up Big in Ontario Christian's 28-21 Victory
Starting off the list is Ontario Christian's Zander Lewis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lewis rushed for 274 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 48 receiving yards. He has become a key player for Ontario Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

On the season, Mathis has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 184.9 passing yards per game.

Joshua Monroe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Capistrano Valley Christian over Village Christian
Capistrano Valley Christian was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Joshua Monroe did his best to prevent it. Monroe was dynamite, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Capistrano Valley Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Monroe and Capistrano Valley Christian will head out to face off against Ontario Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Champ Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Champ Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Aquinas, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Brown and Aquinas will be playing at home against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dwight "Dj" Deranja posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss).
