Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Gets the Win

Chaparral had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Little River Academy Bumblebees 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chaparral took Little River Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a 13-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-13, 25-17, 23-25, 15-2.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Little River Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Chaparral and Copperas Cove will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little River Academy, they will face off against Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
