Volleyball Recap: Fleming Takes a Loss

Fleming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Staunton River Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Fleming's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Staunton River, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fleming will venture away from home to face off against William Byrd at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Staunton River, they will head out to take on Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
