Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Benson). Everything went their way against the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves on Wednesday as Benson made off with  a  19-7 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.
 Mandy Watson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned  (and six unearned) runs off   three  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news, Benson got a  massive  performance out of  Sadie Webb, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  Webb has posted  over her last six  matchups.  Kaylei Taylor was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and one  double.
 Benson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They are 4-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win was their first  at home , bumping their record up to 6-9. As for St. Augustine Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benson will face off against San Miguel at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Benson is facing San Miguel at the right time seeing as San Miguel is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they will take on Palo Verde at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday.
