You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Community on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over the Forrest Rockets. The Vikings/Viqueens haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Community got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mattie Maxey out in front who posted 15 points. What's more, Maxey also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taylar Wessner, who put up 11 points.

Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Community's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Forrest, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Community beat Forrest by a score of 42-40 on Monday.
