Softball Recap: Landry Comes Up Short

Landry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 22-13 to the South Plaquemines Hurricanes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 11-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Landry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for South Plaquemines, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Landry will head out to face off against Willow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Plaquemines does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
