            Basketball Recap: Ramona Bulldogs vs. Fallbrook Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Ramona was the  88-46 winner over Fallbrook when they last played one another  back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Ramona Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory  on Tuesday and fell  73-72 to the Fallbrook Warriors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Friday (66), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Ramona still got an impressive performance from   Aiden Bestul, who  dropped  a double-double on 24  points and 13  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Bestul a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was  Colin Dillon, who  posted 18  points and five  boards.
 Even though they lost, Ramona  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fallbrook only pulled down six  offensive boards.
 Fallbrook's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Petey Pizzo, who  went 7 for 16  on his way to 18 points and six  steals. Pizzo is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 17 games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elliott Watkins, who  dropped  a double-double on 20  points and 11  rebounds.
Ramona has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record  this season. As for Fallbrook, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season.
 Ramona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  63-23  victory against San Pasqual on the 31st. As for Fallbrook, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  70-64  win against Escondido on the 30th.
