Football Game Preview: Central Lafourche vs. A.J. Ellender

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, A.J. Ellender should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Central Lafourche on the road at 7:00 PM. A.J. Ellender will be looking to avenge the 26-35 loss they took the last time these two teams played.

Last Friday, A.J. Ellender came up short against South Lafourche, falling 13-22. A.J. Ellender's loss came about despite a quality game from senior C.j. Mckinley, who rushed for 86 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Central Lafourche faltered in their contest last Friday. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-31 defeat to East St. John. Central Lafourche were down by 0-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
