Langham Creek is 7-2 against Cypress Lakes since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Langham Creek Lobos will host the Cypress Lakes Spartans at 7:15 p.m. Langham Creek's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Langham Creek's victory against Waller wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Langham Creek narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Waller 2-1.

Meanwhile, Cypress Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Bridgeland. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Bears are ranked 124th).

Cypress Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Langham Creek, the victory also got them back to even at 9-9.

Langham Creek might still be hurting after the 5-2 defeat they got from Cypress Lakes when the teams last played back in February. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Langham Creek was down 4-1.
