Softball Recap: Stratford's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Stratford's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Newman Fighting Cardinals get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Stratford broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Newman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Stratford will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Fighting Cardinals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
