Game recap: Murrieta Valley High School Football Team tops Elsinore

The scores gave the senior 11 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Preston Miller to Hoby Teets in the first quarter, Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, Calif.) led 21-7 at the half.

The Nighthawks grew their lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. Murrieta Valley scored two times in the third, including once on a Michael Robles touchdown run.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 28-7 win for MV.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Murrieta school, which lost to Rancho Cucamonga last week, 34-19. The defeat comes as a step back for Elsinore, which notched a 63-13 victory over Temecula Valley in its previous outing.
