Gloucester had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They blew past the Heritage Hurricanes 17-1. The result was nothing new for the Dukes, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Gloucester pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Heritage, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
