Volleyball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Takes a Loss

South Bend Saint Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Portage Indians.

South Bend Saint Joseph was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Portage work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24.

South Bend Saint Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Portage, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

South Bend Saint Joseph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kankakee Valley on the 12th. As for Portage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Chesterton on the 12th.
