Soccer Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek was the 3-0 winner over McCallum when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Cedar Creek Eagles came up short against the McCallum Knights on Friday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 533rd, while the Knights are ranked 182nd).

Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-2. As for McCallum, their win bumped their record up to 6-0-3.

Looking ahead, Cedar Creek will venture away from home to take on Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McCallum, they will take on Bastrop at 10:45 a.m. on February 15th.
