Volleyball Game Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Perkins Pirates

Sandusky is 0-10 against Perkins since October of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks will be playing at home against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Sandusky lost 3-0 to Norwalk on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Perkins came up short against Elyria Catholic on Saturday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Perkins, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Sandusky suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Perkins in their previous matchup on September 4th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Pirates' Avisi Gehlot, who had 11 digs and five aces.
