Basketball Game Preview: Ferndale Golden Eagles vs. Lynden Lions

Ferndale is 1-9 against Lynden since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ferndale Golden Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Lynden Lions at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Wednesday, Ferndale strolled past Oak Harbor with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Golden Eagles this season.

Meanwhile, Lynden put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 66-55 victory over Lakewood.

Lynden's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Ferndale, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
