Basketball Game Preview: Talladega Tigers vs. Sylacauga Aggies

The Talladega Tigers and the Sylacauga Aggies will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Talladega is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Talladega was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Jacksonville.

Meanwhile, Sylacauga unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Benjamin Russell.

Talladega's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sylacauga, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2.

Talladega might still be hurting after the 91-68 defeat they got from Sylacauga in their previous meeting on Saturday. Can Talladega avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
