The Tombstone Yellow Jackets will face off against the Flowing Wells Caballeros at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Tombstone's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They put the hurt on Parkland with a sharp  8-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Yellow Jackets.
Tombstone got a great performance from  Miguel Rincon as he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. What's more,  Rincon gave up only four  walks, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Erik Koehler, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  runs.  Hank Moody was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 Tombstone  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only posted  an  OBP of  .200.
Meanwhile, Flowing Wells beat Hanks 6-3  on Friday.
 Josiah Kehoe made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Kehoe was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Diego Kisner was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Tommy Padilla, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base.
 Tombstone now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Flowing Wells, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
Flowing Wells' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Tombstone has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.7  hits per game. It's a different story for Flowing Wells, though, as  they've been averaging 9  hits. Given Tombstone's sizable advantage in that area, Flowing Wells will need to find a way to close that gap.
