Basketball Recap: Winslow Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Winslow entered their tilt with Alchesay on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 53-45 win over the Alchesay Falcons. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Falcons two weeks ago, they had to take a 68-46 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Alchesay lost, don't look at Texas James. Despite the final result, he posted seven points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Antonio, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Winslow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Alchesay, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10.

As of now, neither Winslow nor Alchesay have any future games scheduled.
