Baseball Recap: Conrad Comes Up Short

Conrad extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 5-14 in the process. They came up short against the North Dallas Bulldogs, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Tuesday.

As for North Dallas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games.

For North Dallas' part, the team relied heavily on Luis Garcia, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyric Strambler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
