Bath came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Elida Bulldogs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Peyton Liles was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Bath's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Elida, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.
