Basketball Game Preview: Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors vs. Rehoboth Christian Lynx

Tse' Yi' Gai and Rehoboth Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors will take on the Rehoboth Christian Lynx at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tse' Yi' Gai is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Tse' Yi' Gai lost to Cottonwood Classical Prep at home by a 60-46 margin.

Despite the loss, Tse' Yi' Gai saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Malia Yazzie posted seven points and six rebounds. Those seven points gave Yazzie a new career-high.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Rehoboth Christian beat To'hajiilee 46-42 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lynx.

Rehoboth Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. As for Tse' Yi' Gai, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Tse' Yi' Gai came out on top in a nail-biter against Rehoboth Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024, sneaking past 33-30. Does Tse' Yi' Gai have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rehoboth Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
