Basketball Recap: Wortham Takes a Loss

Wortham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Milford Bulldogs, falling 44-13. Wortham was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Milford apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Wortham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Milford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Wortham will be taking part in a tournament against Troy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Franklin at 2:00 p.m.
