Football Recap: Plano Falls Despite Big Games from Kam Brown and Chance Culley + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Plano and Plano West meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Wolves, falling 35-14. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Plano's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chance Culley, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores, and Kam Brown, who rushed for 64 yards on only nine carries. Culley has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Jordan Grant had a dynamite game For Plano West., rushing for 148 yards and three TDs. Hayden Mayse was another key player, rushing for 86 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Plano West, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
