Basketball Recap: Council Rock South's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Council Rock South had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 57-47 win over the Council Rock North Indians on Friday. The Golden Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Council Rock South's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4. As for Council Rock North, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Council Rock South will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bensalem at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Council Rock North, they and William Tennent will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
