Everything went their way against the Vista Meridian Meridian Eagles on Friday as the Malibu Sharks made off with a 44-20 victory. With that win, the Sharks brought their scoring average up to 28.4 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Malibu to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tanner Kies, who rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Sawyer Keegan, who threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Malibu pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Vista Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
