On Thursday, Windsor faced Holy Family in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Windsor Wizards came out on top against the Holy Family Tigers by a score of 6-3. Winning may never get old, but the Wizards sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jenna McGinnis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lindsey Hinson, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Murray, who went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

Windsor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holy Family only posted a batting average of .087.

Windsor's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Holy Family, the loss snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.
